Pausing & resuming outreach

Stop all sending when you need to, and pick back up when you’re ready.

Sometimes you need to stop everything — you're heading on holiday, reworking your pitch, or just want a breather. Pausing outreach halts all automatic sending instantly, and resuming picks right back up where you left off. Nothing in your queue is lost.

Pausing outreach

Goal: stop all automatic sending.

  1. Go to Outreach.
  2. In the top right, flip the big On / Off toggle to Off.

The subtitle under the page title changes to "Outreach is paused," and no new emails — initial sends or follow-ups — will go out until you turn it back on. Your queued and in-progress emails stay exactly where they are.

Resuming outreach

Goal: start sending again.

Flip the same toggle back to On. Sending resumes on your normal schedule and daily limit — emails will start going out again the next time your send window is open.

Good to know

  • The toggle only works once you have an email account connected. If it's grayed out, you'll see "Connect your email in Settings to enable outreach."
  • Pausing also pauses Autopilot — no new brands are found or queued while you're off.
  • You can still open and edit individual emails while paused; they just won't send until you resume.

Tip: If you only want to slow things down rather than stop completely, lower your daily limit instead of pausing — see setting your daily send limit & schedule.
