Finding local businesses with Local Leads
Search local, brick-and-mortar businesses by location and category on a map.
The Local page (in Beta, US only) helps you find nearby businesses to pitch — restaurants, gyms, salons, shops, and more — using location and a map. It is great for creators who want to work with local brands.
Set a location
- Open Local from the sidebar.
- Type a city or zip into the City or zip... box and pick a suggestion, or click the location icon to Use my location.
- Set your search radius with the mi dropdown next to the location box.
Until you set a location you will see "Enter a city to get started." You can also type into the Search businesses... box to look for a name or keyword.
Filter the results
Click Filters to open the sidebar (on mobile, the filter icon). Available filters:
- Category — broad business types.
- Sub-category — more specific types, searchable.
- Rating — drag the slider or use the quick picks (3+, 4+, 4.5+).
- Reviews — set a min and max review count.
- Has Website — limit to businesses with a website.
- Social Media — require Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn.
- Business Size — Independent (1 location) or Chain (2+ locations).
Review on the table and map
Results appear in a table alongside a map. Each row shows the business name, category, location, rating, review count, socials, and website. Click a column header like Rating or Reviews to sort.
Click a row to open its detail drawer, or click a map marker to highlight the matching business. Pan the map and use Search this area to look in a new spot. Toggle the map with the Hide Map / Show Map button (or press Cmd+M on desktop). Page through results with the navigation at the bottom.
