Setting up your email signature

Add a signature so every pitch ends looking polished and professional.

Your email signature is added automatically when you send emails through PitchBrand, so it is worth setting up once. You will find it in your General settings, with a full editor for text, formatting, links, and images.

Set up your signature

  1. Open Settings from the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Stay on the General tab and scroll to Email Signature. As the note there says, this signature is used when you send emails through the app.
  3. Build your signature in the editor (details below).
  4. Press Save at the bottom of the page.

Using the editor

The signature editor gives you a formatting toolbar:

  • Bold, Italic, and Underline for text styling.
  • Align left, center, and right.
  • Link and Unlink — when adding a link you will be prompted to enter the URL.
  • Image upload — add a logo or headshot (images must be under 10MB).

Visual mode vs. HTML

The two buttons on the right of the toolbar switch between editing modes. The eye icon is the visual editor (what most people use), and the code icon switches to HTML mode if you want to paste or hand-edit raw HTML — handy if you have a signature from another tool. Switch back to visual mode to keep formatting with the toolbar.

Tip: Keep it simple — a name, role, and one or two links read best in a brand's inbox. Remember to press Save when you are done.
