This report analyzes 29,223 outreach emails sent by creators to 24,000+ brands through PitchBrand between January 2025 and February 2026.
Reply tracking uses PitchBrand's built-in reply detection system. A "reply" is defined as any non-automated response from a brand contact. Auto-replies, out-of-office messages, and bounce-backs are excluded.
Campaign size, subject line, and content analysis is based on anonymized and aggregated data. No individual creator or brand data is exposed.
All percentages are rounded. Where sample sizes are small (fewer than 100 pitches in a segment), data is noted as directional rather than statistically significant.
Every statistic in this report comes from real outreach data — actual emails sent by creators to brands through PitchBrand. This includes 29,000+ pitches sent to 24,000+ brands, with 1,200+ tracked replies. No surveys, no self-reported data, no third-party estimates.
A reply is any response from a brand to a creator's pitch email, tracked via our reply detection system. This includes positive responses (interested in collaborating), neutral responses (requesting more information), and negative responses (not interested). Auto-replies and out-of-office messages are excluded.
Our data shows campaigns targeting 25 or fewer brands achieve an 8.1% reply rate — well above the industry average of 3-5%. The top 10% of campaigns averaged just 35 contacts and hit 21.4%, which is 1.5x higher than even the best cold email benchmarks. Focus on highly targeted outreach rather than volume.
Yes. 26% of all brand replies came from follow-up emails, not the initial pitch. If you're sending one email and moving on, you're leaving roughly a quarter of potential deals on the table. Our data suggests 1-2 well-timed follow-ups is the sweet spot.
Monday through Wednesday consistently outperform other days, with Tuesday showing the highest reply rates in our data. Weekend pitches perform significantly worse. Time of day matters less than day of week, but morning sends (recipient's local time) tend to perform slightly better.
Influencer Marketing and Partnerships roles respond at nearly 7x the rate of E-commerce managers (4.8% vs 0.7%). Look for titles like Influencer Marketing Manager, Partnerships Manager, or Creator Relations. Avoid pitching Founders, CEOs, and generic marketing emails.
